NEW!! - The Silhouette Harness

The Silhouette harness was launched onto market a few months ago, replacing the popular Top Harness. APCO had to ensure that the Silhouette would be better than the Top, which was not an easy task. It has the same webbing system as the Contour and the same general shape with a huge back compartment which allows for a combination of the new modern protection systems that APCO offers - Airfoam protectors, CABS (APCO's Closed Air Bottle System), Kevlar plate or a combination of the above. It uses the revolutionary skydiving type of cable deployment system ensuring fast, reliable opening of the reserve parachute. Only top quality materials and webbings were used and Quick Lock Buckles are standard. A very narrow aerodynamic profile make it appealing to performance seeking pilots. Comfort and durability are in line with the APCO tradition. Offered in 2 sizes and certified in Germany by DHV the Silhouette is competitively priced - a special effort was made to make it affordable without sacrificing any of the features.

APCO's Clinch Bag

The Clinch Bag is a new idea from APCO for the quick packing and transporting of paraglider and flying kit. It is based on the idea of the drawstring bag commonly used as an inner stuff bag. The Clinch Bag is made from heavy duty nylon and designed so that a paraglider can be stuffed quickly away with all the pilot's flying equipment without the need to fold it. Useful if you are doing a lot of flights in a day and don?t want the bother of constantly packing and unpacking a folded wing, or when you?ve landed somewhere you shouldn?t and need to pack away fast! Two heavy duty shoulder straps and two compression straps allow the Clinchbag to be carried like a standard rucksack, so it will also find use as a lightweight XC bag for the hard-core cross country pilot. 

Front Parachute container

APCO is now offering a new design of front mounted container for emergency parachutes for pilots who want to have easy, safe access to the deployment handle. The deployment system is the same design as APCO's new range of harnesses, the Contour and Silhouette, incorporating a skydiving type cable deployment. It ensures fast, reliable deployment reducing the emergency parachute deployment time, as was clearly shown in an evaluation made by the Swiss and Italian Federations, the conclusion of which was that the Mayday16 has the fastest deployment time on the market (the secret of which partly lies in the APCO release system). The container is very aesthetically designed, with appealing colors and backed with a sheet of polyethylene to keep the shape clean and protected from elements.
